				Boker teamed with Prof. Bill Newman of Latosa Escrima, noted European Defensive Tactics instructors Frank B. Metzger and Joachim Friedrich, and Boker designer Dietmar Pohl. The result was a Tactical Folder designed to be applicable to both the Filipino Martial Arts as well as Defensive Tactics requirements. Modifications to the knife include improved grip texturing and a pommel more suited to Punyo applications. The knife also works well as a closed impact weapon, due to the ergonomics and the fact that the blade fully nests in the handles. A few words about Solingen...

It must be stressed that just because a blade is marked "Solingen", it does not ensure that the "Solingen" is inside. Solingen,
the knife making center of Germany, is well known for superior quality in producing cutlery. For this reason the "Made in
Solingen" stamp is often used deceptively by swindlers.

The law says that goods may be marked with "Solingen" only if the vast majority of important manufacturing steps are made in
Solingen, with little exception.

How do you protect yourself from fraud? Look for recognized manufacturers and brands. Avoid unknown or nameless
products marked "Made in Solingen" and ask if there are any doubts. We stand ready to help you, too.
